Products Description

Our company primarily produces a variety of flocculants, including polyacrylamide (anionic, cationic, and nonionic). Polyacrylamide, abbreviated as PAM, is a highly polymerized, water-based linear polymer with valuable properties such as flocculation, thickening, shearing, drag reduction, and dispersibility. It is readily soluble in water and virtually insoluble in common organic solvents such as benzene, ether, and lipids. Polyacrylamide is available in cationic, anionic, nonionic, and zwitterionic forms, with molecular weights ranging from 4 to 20 million. The product appears as a white powder, is readily soluble in water, and readily decomposes at temperatures above 120°C.

Application: Also requires a neutral or alkaline pH.

Product Application

1. Water treatment

It can neutralize positively charged suspended particles, form flocs for sedimentation, and is used for sewage purification and sludge dewatering.

It can also enhance the separation efficiency of suspended solids in wastewater treatment.

2. Oil extraction

It can increase the viscosity of the injected water and enhance the crude oil recovery rate.

As an additive in drilling fluid, it reduces pipeline resistance.

3. Papermaking and Textile

Enhance the wet strength of paper and reduce fiber loss.

Adsorb dye molecules, decolorize and reduce COD.

Product Usage

Polyacrylamide Instructions

1. Solution Preparation: Add polyacrylamide to clean water in an appropriate proportion and stir thoroughly until completely dissolved to form a solution of the desired concentration.

2. Addition Method: Slowly add the prepared polyacrylamide solution to the water to be treated while stirring thoroughly to ensure full contact between the polyacrylamide and impurities in the water.

3. After stirring stops, the flocculant will form flocs with the impurities in the water, which will be separated from the water by sedimentation or flotation.

Polyacrylamide Precautions

1. Avoid direct contact: Polyacrylamide is a mildly irritating chemical. Protective equipment should be worn when handling it, and prolonged contact should be avoided.

2. Storage: Store polyacrylamide in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.

3. Avoid contact with incompatible substances: Polyacrylamide should not be mixed with strong oxidizers, strong acids, strong bases, or other substances to avoid dangerous reactions.

4. If you experience any discomfort during use, discontinue use immediately and seek medical advice.

5. Pay attention to the dosage: The dosage of polyacrylamide directly affects water treatment results. Excessive dosage may lead to excessive concentrations and increase water treatment costs; insufficient dosage may not achieve the desired flocculation effect. Therefore, before use, conduct a test based on actual conditions to ensure the appropriate dosage.

Product packaging & storage

Product Packaging:

Emulsions are packaged in IBC drums.

Solids are packaged in 25kg bags and ton bags.

Packaging can be customized according to customer needs

Product Storage

Polyacrylamide should be stored in a cool and dry warehouse and avoid being piled up in the open air. If the bag is not used up after opening, the bag should be tied tightly to prevent moisture absorption and agglomeration.
