Product Description
Cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM) is a linear high-molecular compound. Due to its various active groups, it can be compatible with and adsorb many substances to form hydrogen bonds. It mainly flocculates negatively charged colloids and has functions such as turbidity removal, decolorization, adsorption and adhesion. It is suitable for the treatment of wastewater with high organic colloid content in industries such as dyeing, papermaking, food, construction, metallurgy, mineral processing, coal powder, oil fields, aquatic product processing and fermentation. It is particularly suitable for the dewatering treatment of urban sewage, urban sludge, papermaking sludge and other industrial sludges.

Product Features
- It has good water solubility and can be completely dissolved in cold water.
- Adding a small amount of cationic polyacrylamide product can achieve a significant flocculation effect. Generally, only 0.01 to 10ppm (0.01 to 10g/m ³) needs to be added to fully exert its effect.
- When cationic polyacrylamide products and inorganic flocculants (such as polymeric ferric sulfate, polyaluminium chloride, iron salts, etc.) are used simultaneously, a greater effect can be demonstrated.
Product Application
Sludge dewatering: It is used for pressure filtration/centrifugal dewatering of urban sewage and industrial sludge to reduce the moisture content.
Flocculation and sedimentation: Treating organic wastewater (such as food and slaughterhouse wastewater), accelerating the sedimentation of suspended solids.

Papermaking industry

Polyacrylamide (PAA) primarily serves as a retention aid, drainage aid, and reinforcement in papermaking.
As a retention aid, PAM improves fiber utilization and reduces production costs.
The drainage aid function accelerates pulp dewatering, shortens drying time, and increases paper machine speed.
As a reinforcement, PAM connects fibers through molecular chains, improving the paper's tensile strength, burst resistance, and tear resistance.
In mineral processing, polyacrylamide can optimize the selectivity and flotation rate of flotation agents, thereby improving flotation efficiency and increasing the recovery rate and grade of target minerals.
In slurries after flocculation and sedimentation, polyacrylamide can help improve sludge dewatering and reduce moisture content.

Oilfield applications

In oil production, polyacrylamide's applications are not limited to enhanced oil recovery and wastewater treatment; it is also widely used in oilfield processes such as acidizing, fracturing, flooding, and chemical water injection.
As an oil-displacing agent, it improves water flow, allowing for more uniform injection into the oil layer and increasing oil recovery.
During drilling, it forms a gel downhole, helping to block excess water flow, preventing it from affecting oil and gas production.
Product Precautions
1. Safe operation
Avoid direct contact with dust. Wear gloves, goggles and a mask when operating. If it accidentally touches the eyes, rinse immediately with clean water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention.
2. Dissolution preparation
Use clean water with a water temperature of no more than 50℃ to prevent degradation. Stir at a moderate speed (200-400 RPM) to avoid violent shearing that may cause molecular chain breakage.
Prepare and use immediately. The solution should not be stored for more than 24 hours to prevent it from becoming ineffective.
3. Storage conditions
Store in a cool and dry place to avoid moisture absorption and caking. Keep away from strong oxidants (such as sodium hypochlorite). The shelf life is usually two years (unopened).
