Cationic: It is mainly used for the flocculation of negatively charged colloids or suspended solids, and is particularly good at treating organic sludge dewatering (such as municipal sewage sludge, papermaking sludge), high-concentration organic wastewater, and wastewater with complex components.
Anion: Mainly used for the flocculation of positively charged inorganic suspensions (such as mineral suspensions, metal hydroxides), thickening (such as tertiary oil recovery), and dispersion. It works well under neutral or alkaline conditions.
Nonionic: Insensitive to pH value, suitable for suspension systems with weak charge or electrical neutrality under acidic conditions or weak acid and weak base conditions.

Products Application
Anionic polyacrylamide (APAM): The most commonly used, mainly applied in water treatment (especially for wastewater with high inorganic suspended solids content), papermaking auxiliaries, thickeners, mining and metallurgy, and oil displacement in the petroleum industry (in some cases).
Cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM): It is mainly used for the flocculation and dewatering of negatively charged colloids or suspended solids, and is particularly good at treating the dewatering of organic sludge (such as municipal sludge, papermaking sludge, food processing sludge), negatively charged wastewater (such as printing and dyeing wastewater, organic wastewater), and papermaking retention and filtration assistance (with stronger charge neutralization effect).
Nonionic polyacrylamide (NPAM): It is mainly used for flocculation and sedimentation under weakly acidic or neutral conditions, such as in mining and metallurgy, coal washing, soil water retention, chemical industry, etc. Its performance is superior to that of anionic type under neutral or weakly acidic conditions.
Operating Guide
Dissolution: Slowly add the PAM water treatment flocculant to the stirred water (recommended concentration 0.1-0.3%), and avoid direct pouring.
Dilution: After maturation, dilute to 0.01-0.05% of the working solution and inject it into the reaction tank through a dosing pump.
Optimization: Determine the optimal model and dosage (usually 1-10 PPM) based on small-scale tests in the water quality laboratory.
