Polyacrylamide is good water treatment flocculant. Based on its ionic properties, polyacrylamide is divided into cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM), anionic polyacrylamide (APAM) and nonionic polyacrylamide (NPAM). Different product indicators have different application areas:
Cationic (CPAM) polyacrylamide uses: used as a flocculant in sewage treatment in mining, metallurgy, textile, papermaking and other industries. Used in the petroleum industry for a variety of operations.
Anionic (APAM) polyacrylamide uses: plays a flocculation and precipitation role in industrial wastewater (electroplating wastewater, metallurgical wastewater, steel plant wastewater, coal washing wastewater, etc.).
Nonionic (NPAM) polyacrylamide uses: clarification and purification, sedimentation promotion, thickening and other effects, filtration promotion.
These three products can be used in conjunction with inorganic flocculants.

Product Price
The price of polyacrylamide is related to the product type. Different product types have different effects when used. Therefore, when using polyacrylamide, we first need to conduct a small test on the sewage and sludge to be treated, and select the most suitable model through experiments. The effect of polyacrylamide cannot be simply considered that the higher the molecular weight, the better, the higher the ionicity, the better, and the more the dosage, the better.

Product Storage
Polyacrylamide should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated environment and avoid direct sunlight. Ultraviolet rays in sunlight may cause degradation of the molecular chain of polyacrylamide, causing its performance to deteriorate. Secondly, it should be prevented from contact with strong acids and strong bases, because polyacrylamide will react chemically with acids and bases, changing its chemical structure and properties, resulting in failure. Furthermore, the packaging must be well sealed. Polyacrylamide is easy to absorb moisture. Once it absorbs moisture and clumps, it will not only be inconvenient to use, but also affect the dissolution effect and product performance. It is usually recommended to store it in a cool place, and the temperature should not be too high. Generally, room temperature is more suitable. In addition, when storing, be careful to stay away from high temperature sources such as fire to avoid product quality problems caused by unexpected high temperatures.
Product packaging
Polyacrylamide is commonly packaged in 25 kg/bag and 750 kg/ton bag.
25 kg of polyacrylamide is usually packaged in plastic bags or composite paper bags. The packaging should be kept intact and sealed during storage to prevent the product from absorbing moisture from contact with the air and prevent impurities from mixing in.
If the original packaging is opened for use, the remaining product should be re-sealed in time to avoid long-term exposure to the air.
