Anionic Polyacrylamide (APAM) is a high-molecular-weight polymer specifically designed for efficient solid-liquid separation. By neutralizing surface charges and facilitating bridging adsorption, it aggregates suspended particles, colloids, and fine impurities into flocs that are large in volume, high in density, and settle rapidly. This product is now widely utilized in fields such as wastewater treatment, mineral processing, sand washing, papermaking, and sludge dewatering.

Product Application Areas and Case Studies

1. Municipal Sewage Treatment Plant

In a large-scale municipal wastewater treatment project, the anionic polyacrylamide flocculant we supplied was applied in the sedimentation tanks. When used in conjunction with PAC, this product rapidly aggregates suspended solids and organic colloids, thereby reducing effluent turbidity by over 90%.

2. Textile & Dyeing Wastewater Treatment

A textile printing and dyeing factory faced high turbidity, deep color, and difficult-to-treat wastewater. By adding our APAM with PAC, dyestuff particles and suspended contaminants were rapidly flocculated and settled. The treatment system achieved stable operation, COD and chroma decreased significantly, and the factory successfully passed environmental inspections.

3. Mining & Mineral Processing Wastewater

A metal mine had been utilizing a third-party's PAM product for its tailings slurry thickening and process water recovery operations; however, the treated water remained turbid, and water recovery rates were low. 4. Sand Washing & Aggregate Production

At a specific sand and gravel aggregate production facility, the wastewater generated from sand washing contained substantial quantities of silt and clay. Consequently, the water remained turbid during the sedimentation phase, and during pressure filtration, the flocculated aggregates tended to disintegrate easily, preventing the formation of a solid sludge cake. By utilizing our APAM product, rapid separation of solids and liquids was successfully achieved: the clarified water was directly recycled for reuse, while the sediment was pressed into dry sludge cakes. This solution not only saved the client over 70% of their freshwater resources but also comprehensively resolved the environmental challenges associated with wastewater discharge.

5. Paper Mill White Water Treatment

A paper mill applied our anionic polyacrylamide in white water clarification and fiber retention.
