Water is the source of life. Saving water and protecting water resources are our common responsibilities. To actively fulfill corporate social responsibility and plant the seeds of environmental protection in children's hearts, on September 19th, the volunteer team from Henan Saifu brought carefully prepared courses and experimental equipment to Experimental Primary School and spent a time full of knowledge and fun with the sixth-grade students.
Fun Class: Unveiling the Secrets of Water
At the beginning of the activity, our company's technical engineer took on the role of a "science popularization teacher" and, through vivid PPTs and animated videos, explained in an easy-to-understand way to the students "Where does water come from", "The current situation of water resources", and "The huge harm of water pollution". The students listened attentively and had a heated discussion on "How to save water in daily life".
Amazing Experiment: Witnessing the Process of "Turning Dirty Water into Clear Water"
Theory combined with practice can be more deeply rooted in people's hearts. The "highlight" of this activity was the simulation water treatment mini-experiment. The volunteers used polyacrylamide agents to demonstrate to the students how to turn a cup of turbid "dirty water" into clear water through adding the agent and stirring. The magical change process attracted the students' amazement and they raised their hands to want to try it themselves. Through hands-on experiments, the abstract water treatment knowledge turned into intuitive and visible phenomena, deeply imprinting the environmental protection concept in the children's hearts.
Love Donation: Transferring Knowledge and Care
At the end of the activity, Henan Saidu donated a batch of science popularization books and sports supplies with water-saving themes to the school. It is hoped that students can not only increase their knowledge but also grow healthily. The principal of Experimental Primary School expressed sincere gratitude to our company's public welfare action and believed that this was a meaningful "second classroom", greatly enhancing students' environmental protection awareness and social responsibility.
