Cationic Polyacrylamide is a high-molecular polymer formed through the polymerization of cationic monomers and acrylamide. With a charge density ranging from 10% to 80%, it effectively flocculates negatively charged colloids. It is suitable for use in industries such as papermaking, printing and dyeing, food processing, metallurgy, mineral processing, and oilfields; it is particularly well-suited for the sludge dewatering stage of municipal and industrial wastewater treatment.
Based on its physical form, Cationic Polyacrylamide can be classified into two types: solid granules and emulsions. Currently, the solid granular form is the most widely used.

Product Characteristics
1. **Excellent Water Solubility:** Dissolves completely, even in cold water.
2. **Strong Flocculation Effect:** The addition of a small amount of Cationic Polyacrylamide yields a significant flocculation effect, producing flocs that are highly stable and resistant to disintegration.
3. **High Compatibility:** When used in conjunction with inorganic flocculants (such as Polyferric Sulfate or Polyaluminum Chloride), Cationic Polyacrylamide results in significantly clearer treated water.
Product Applications
1. **Wastewater Purification:** In the treatment of municipal and industrial wastewater, when used in combination with inorganic flocculants, it rapidly aggregates suspended solids in the water, thereby achieving effective wastewater purification.
2. **Sludge Dewatering:** During the sludge dewatering stage of wastewater treatment systems, adding Cationic Polyacrylamide to the sludge prior to entering a filter press generates large, stable flocs that remain intact during filtration. This results in a high dewatering rate, with the moisture content of the resulting sludge cake reduced to below 80%.
3. **Papermaking Aids:** In the papermaking industry, it serves as a retention aid, helping to minimize fiber loss, accelerate water drainage, improve paper quality, and reduce production costs.
4. **Oil Extraction:** In oilfield operations, it is utilized as an additive for drilling fluids and fracturing fluids, as well as a water-shutoff agent and profile control agent, thereby enhancing oil recovery rates and improving operational efficiency.
Product Transportation
Cationic Polyacrylamide is classified as a non-hazardous material and can be transported via road, sea, rail, or air freight. Customers may select the most suitable mode of transport based on their specific requirements and circumstances.
Packaging and Storage
The standard packaging for Polyacrylamide consists of 25kg paper-plastic composite bags. Alternatively, "ton bags" (bulk bags) can be provided to meet specific customer requirements. Solid polyacrylamide requires protection against moisture during use; prolonged exposure to the air will result in moisture absorption and caking. It should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated, and dry place.
